BRACHYTHERAPY CENTER IS PLANNED TO BE OPENED ON THE BASIS OF SI SAMARA REGIONAL CLINICAL ONCOLOGY DISPENSARY
Brachytherapy Center is planned to be opened on the basis of SI Samara Regional Clinical Oncology Dispensary September 20 and 21, 2007, scientific-practical seminar on brachytherapy of prostate cancer under control of ultrasound (US) is expected to be conducted.
Within the framework of this event it is planned to hold for the first time demonstrative high-tech brachytherapy surgeries using microsources on the basis of I-125 under the control of US in patients with prostate cancer diagnosis in the Volga (Privolzhsky) Federal District.
These operations will be attended by highly qualified Russian and foreign specialists. In addition, at the opening of Brachytherapy Centre Scientific Workshop on brachytherapy is scheduled with Dr. Klews Peter-Michael presentation (Germany). www.samaraonko.ru
