BEBIG COMPANY LAUNCHED PRODUCTION OF IODINE-125 RADIATION MICROSOURCES USED FOR THE TREATMENT OF PROSTATE CANCER WITH BRACHYTHERAPY METHOD IN RUSSIA

On Wednesday, March 27, 2013 two brachytherapy procedures for prostate cancer were performed using Russian microsources. These operations were carried out by the specialists of Moscow State Clinical Hospital No.50 led by a Member of the Board of the Russian Society of Urologists, MD, PhD, Professor Andrey Vladimirovich Zaitsev at the department, headed by Chief Urologist of Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation Dmitry Yuryevich Pushkar.
